Garden Sonnet dusk

There is something so lovely about a garden floral on a deep green ground, and this one immediately caught my eye. Soft cream blooms, tiny white blossoms, touches of blush and warm golden yellow are scattered among layers of muted green leaves. It feels lush and romantic without being too fussy.

I especially love the variety in the flowers—it has that wonderful feeling of walking through a garden and gathering whatever happens to be blooming that day. Nothing too perfect, just beautiful things growing together.

This would make the prettiest dress or skirt, but I also love it for quilts, pillows, bags, aprons, and other home projects. The darker ground gives it enough depth to feel sophisticated while all those soft flowers keep it happy.

It’s giving “I casually gathered these from my enormous English garden”... even if the closest thing I gathered today was dirty laundry. 🌿😂
